One of the great greats of Denver, tucked into Cherry Creek North - but thankfully several blocks north of the annoying parking kiosk fiasco (did you know that those machines only take quarters or credit card? Good grief). The Hound is located just around the corner from the legendary Barolo Grill. Any self-respecting pub can pour a nice Guinness, but the Hound can also feed you some exceptional grub. Try the burger and the homemade potato chips. And the Smoked Pork Sandwich doesn't suck one bit. Trust us on this.

The Irish Hound is a great place to take a date - or maybe to find one. This is the place that Maverick and Goose declared a "target-rich environment." OK, that was actually in Miramar - really just a soundstage in fact - but you get the picture. So go ahead guys - don't shower, wear those same jeans and baseball cap you've had on since Sunday - that table of Cougars on a Girls Night Out will focus that much more on someone else (read: me).

At lunchtime or even through the dinner hour, the Hound is a great family destination (you won't find them on the menu, but there are always yummy Dove Bars for dessert. What kid won't hold it together for 45 minutes with the promise of a Dove Bar at the end?) Want 10 minutes of peace and quiet to reconnect with your hot MILF of a wife? Give the kids 3 bucks and stand them on a chair at the Big Buck Hunter game. That's what I'm talking about.
